Looking for Deal Of A Lifetime Lease Specifics: by slackjaw on Wed Nov 28 07:59:47 PST 2007; Can anyone post the details on the "deal of a lifetime" leases for a 2008 T&C such as lease cash, MF, residual, etc? I must have seen 15 Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep commercials last night while my wife forced me to watch that dancing show. We are looking to get into a well-optioned touring T&C on a 36 month. We have not been able to get an EC from any of our old contacts from when we lived near the Newark, DE plant. :( Thanks!!

DGC extended warranty?: by 1997montez34 on Sat Jul 09 02:08:51 PDT 2005; The '05 comes with a 7/70 powertrain warranty. Why did you buy an extended 7/75 warranty? Negative equity is a bummer. Been there, still paying for that!

Re: signature series [tdbrph]: by mtgman on Thu Feb 03 19:27:02 PST 2005; I had 1 dealer tell me I was not eligible for a lease loyalty rebate of 1K (I was leasing an 02 TC from a bank instead of Chrysler) and I thought she was wrong so I called another dealer (Adel Chysler in Adel Iowa) and he said I was eligible. He essentially matched Des Moines Chrslyer's price (and his van had auto climate and adj. pedals) so I went with him. In the mean time, Des Moines Chrysler kept bugging me and her last message was they could do $339/mo with $339 at signing. I went with 39 months with 12K/yr. Today I got a call from the dealer I bought it from and he said the lease papers were wrong. It should be 20 cents/mile instead of 15/mile on the lease I signed. I told him I'd consider 15k/yr, but I'd be hard pressed to accept 20c/mile when he quoted and I signed 15/ml. I know I'll go over 12/yr, but I'm not taking 20/mile. I hate buying cars. I'm a mortgage broker and it's a lot easier to shop for mortgages than cars. The headphones do come with the van.

'96 Trade: by rbell2 on Sun Nov 30 20:52:06 PST 2003; Very doubtful you'll get $6-7,000 selling that '96 DGC-ES. There are just way too many used vans on the market and with the huge discounts they are giving on new DGC and T&C, the de-valuation just trickles down. For example, I had a '96 DGC-LE with pretty much all the options for that trim w/o leather. It had 107,000 miles. It was truly in very good condition with all maintenance records. It needed a brake job (~$400) and it had a leaking valve cover gasket (~$175). I tried to sell it for about 4 weeks - got 2 calls and no lookers. Dropped the ad price all the way to $3,750 and still no offers. I went to some wholesalers and the most I was offered was $2,000. I got $2,500 for it trade-in (as is) with my '03 Ody purchase. One reason I bought a Honda - I was really sick from how little I could get for my DGC although it did serve us well for 7 years. All my previous used car selling experiences were Toyo's where they sold fast and for a good price ('84 Celica, '88 Celica, '89 Avalon, and '01 4Runner). Good luck.
