Bumper chip
by wolfhndmom on Fri May 02 08:18:51 PDT 2008
Hi, I bought my T&C Touring on 4/30/08. When I looked at it the day before it was in perfect condition. They put the remote start in the day I was to pick it up and pay for it and when I looked it over before paying, I found a small chip in the front bumper. They assured me that they would fix it so I'd never know it was ever there but that I HAD to take possession to ensure the same pricing. They put a note on the invoice to fix the chip so it would appear it was never there and the salesman signed the notation. Supposed to be done on Tuesday. Now, I'm getting nervous from talking to co-workers. Anyone know CAN they make that chip disappear? Did I do something stupid purchasing pre-damaged?

Flanders, Send me a PM with the required info and I'll see if I can get one for you by tomorrow. I'm all out of numbers and a few of my reliable co-worker contacts have used their 6 up but I'll ask around.

If you are just considering about buying one, don't waste my time or yours. I see I'm not the only one. Out of the 21 discounts I've personally given out (not including the dozen or so through co-workers) since last September only 6 have been used. When someone uses their number the date they bought the vehicle appears in my registered buyer database. That means 15 other buyers who could have used these missed out because I didn't have any numbers left. If you're ready to close the deal let me know and I'll TRT to get yu a number. Otherwise, it's just wasting everyone's time and costing other people lots of money.
Re: Several Friends Discounts Still Available [tedebear]

Okay, although I'm personally out of Friends discounts for the rest of the year a co-worker told me the other day that he still has 5 left and is willing to share. The first 5 people who want one can email me at my carspace.com address Yes, I know I'm replying to myself :D but I just wanted to let anyone else who hasn't already emailed me for a discount that I'm all out once again. If I can find someone else who is willing to share his/her numbers I'll make an announcement. Thanks to everyone who replied and I hope everyone enjoys their new rides.
Several Friends Discounts Still Available

I hesitate to do this, since the last time I announced it I was swamped, although I guess it's good for business. :D Okay, although I'm personally out of Friends discounts for the rest of the year a co-worker told me the other day that he still has 5 left and is willing to share. The first 5 people who want one can email me at my carspace.com address (membername@carspace.com). I need the information listed below so he can register you and generate a control number. Don't post it here but if you email it to me I will forward everything to him. Also, if you want to know what the Friends discount price will be on a specific vehicle (doesn't just have to be a minivan) you can look up the invoice price on Edmunds. The Friends discount is 1% below invoice plus any rebates or other incentives. Here's what I need: 1. First and last name 2. Complete mailing address (street, city, state, zip) 3. Phone number 4. Date of birth 5. SSN (last 4 digits only) 6. Email address you'd like the control number sent to 7. Vehicle you're interested in (T&C, Grand Caravan, Sebring, Viper, etc.) The Friends discount number is valid for the entire 2008 calendar year.
Thank you rmbalisa and tedebear!

The transmission on my 2002 T&C with 140,000 mi died last week. I posted a plea for an EC code and Rmbalisa found a co-worker who was willing to share his. Tedebear emailed with EC pricing on several models. It was so nice to know before entering the dealership what I could really afford (which was a much nicer van, thanks to rmbalisa!). The entire process was quick and painless -just a matter of locating one with the options I wanted. Before receiving the code, I planned to get a Touring/SXT L with premium sound, swivel seats, and tow package. With the code, I was able to get a fully loaded Touring M, complete with nav system. THANK YOU! For those who are still shopping or who have recently purchased Chrysler products with Lifetime Drivetrain Warranty, check out the newly available Chrysler LIFETIME MaxCare policy. I bought one, and am looking forward to many, many years of worry-free ownership. :D
