Dude, I can't speak to a lot of your points but I will say this: paying inv + $200 is a NO DEAL for you. If you can help it, do not pull the plug on that deal. Look at Carmax.com and find your vehicle. Carmax has your car at $5000 below invoice. That's $5000 BELOW invoice. A couple of dealers in this area (DC) are consistently $3000+ below INVOICE, and that's on the LS Sedan or the LS Maxx. You need to look around a bunch because if I can get those prices here without even going into a showroom, I just can't imagine how inv + $200 would be a good deal at any Chevy dealership in the USA! GOod luck and keep us posted. (Also, you need to get Edmunds'TMV on the new car page and use that in your negotiations. I'd just print it out and hand it to the dealer if they're insisting that inv+200 is a good deal.)

What in the blue blazes are you trying to do to yourself ... get yourself further into a hole that you'll never get out of? Think about it -- you want to take out a loan for 32800 on a vehicle that's worth at best mid to upper 20s right now and sinking fast? You'll never get out of that hole. You don't give all the essentials on the truck you want to buy, but I suggest you take a SERIOUS look at what they're selling for used right now. If you thought being $7000 upside down was rough, you'll be in for a rude awakening. Don't do it. Of course, I'm no financial advisor.
