Re: Decent deal on a 2007 [pjm16]
by mikejl on Fri Feb 08 07:39:17 PST 2008
The deal was not done until I drove and accepted the car, but I had looked at others with the same options, so I knew what I was getting. I do like the car. It handles well and is a lot of fun to drive. I haven't had a chance to drive it more than 40 miles in a single trip yet. I'm looking forward to driving it on a long weekend trip of 250+ miles (each way) when the weather improves. I know this isn't exclusive to Cobalts, but I really like the XM radio that came with it. I am much more impressed than I thought I'd be. I also like the mpg. A lot.
Decent deal on a 2007

Just pulled the trigger on a new 2007 2LT Cobalt, Sport Red Tint, Auto, Spoiler, Remote Start MSRP - 17915, invoice - 17050 The deal was 550 off invoice, less 1,750 GM rebate, less 500 Conquest rebate for a net of 14,250. There are still a few new 2007 models around, especially if you are willing to drive a little farther than you normally would. I negotiated this deal over the phone, subject to actually seeing and driving the car when we picked it up, so it wasn't too much of a hassle.
HOST: Did I get ripped off?
by pgh111 on Fri Oct 27 09:43:55 PDT 2006
Dear host, I leased my 3LT on Saturday 10/21, I only received $2000 lease cash. I am in Pittsburgh, PA, should I have received $2500 in lease cash? If so, I am guessing I have no recourse do I?
OK Dealership, excellent car

I bought my 2000 Chevy Impala Base used from Century III Chevy in Pittsburgh, PA. I was able to get the vehicle for $10,900 plus tax, etc., etc. This was a year ago so that seemed to be a good deal at the time. The dealership is very aggressive, but as you walk out the door from their ridiculous sales pitch their reality mode kicks in. I bought a Blazer from them as well and have been happy with the service. The Impala had 25,000 miles on it. Today it has 46,000. I do a lot of highway driving so my car's mileage goes up quite a bit each year. Problems? Other than my unhappiness with the 104 amp no real issues.
