I got a call from a local GMC dealer and they told me that, starting 8/20, for the 1500s they are doing employee PLUS $5000 rebate. Looking at the press reports more info is being released tomorrow, 8/19. Thanks for those that replied to my question on the 08 Silverado. The gotcha was he was not including the loan on the trade. So from that perspective the deal stunk worse than a skunk laying on the side of the road. I told him that I was not going to owe $34k on a truck that auctions for about $22k.

Stickers for $35855. Ya, this really bugs me. The manager didn't take long to make his decision and he is bringing in a vehicle. Doesn't make sense. Tomorrow outta be interesting. I looked at their inventory and they have two other LT1s that would work for me. Different colors but they would still work for me.

Got the following verbal deal today: 2008 Silverado Crew Cab LT1 4x4 Tow Package 5.3L V-8 Auto climate control remote start rear defroster Z71 package Out the door price = $23000 Trading in a vehicle that, according to the auction books I can find, is worth $4000 less than what I owe. Test driving a similar vehicle now, they are bringing on the one that we are dealing on. Looking for the 'gotcha' in this deal. I know that it is verbal at this point but re-iterated, a couple of times, that this is $23000 out the door. The sales manager repeated, "$23000 out the door including doc fee". Where's my gotcha? Or is this going to be a bait and switch? (yes, I'm a little cynical when it comes to auto dealers)

Hi Carman, What are the current residuals and money factors on 08 Silveado's in the Omaha, NE area (KC region?)? I'm looking at an 08 Ext Cab with an MSRP of $31945 for 3yr/36k miles. Also, if you lease through GMAC, do you still get the incentives (currently $1000 if you buy)? I'm getting ready to talk numbers with a dealership and want an idea if whatever number they shoot me is fair or not. Thanks!!!
Need lease payment

Found a 07 Tahoe LTZ list price $53,015. I've tried doing the lease calculator and it doens't seem right. I want to lease the vehicle for 39 months/15k miles with nothing down. We live outside the city limits of Omaha, NE and our taxes are 5.5% What would the lease payment be? Any help would be great. Not sure what lease rebates are out there either. Thanks in advance.

I ordered an HHR 3 weeks ago from H&H in Omaha NE. I didn't want to order one but the few HHR's in town were all around $22000-$23000. Way to many option I didn't need or want to pay for. I ordered an LT1 HHR, auto, 2.4 engine, fog lights, roof rails, pioneer sound. MSRP was $19200, I only paid $17661. Thats $206.00 under :D the Dealer invoice price of $17867 for the car. 6-8 week for delivery.
