Cloth seats?
by camster on Sun Nov 25 20:17:58 PST 2007
I'm renting a Tohoe for a few days to try it out - the cloth seats seem kind of 'average'. Is my rental just beat up or are the cloth versions not so good?

Drew: Please share all the details. $12k even beats Kerbeck by $3k and shipping couldn't be more than a grand.

Good! Too bad about not finding an 06, but at least you are happy! Ok, tomorrow I'm calling GM about them not letting me use: 1. the employee discount code 2. my credit card money I called the dealer this afternoon to ask and once again was denied. SO...I called another dealer who had an ad in the paper Sunday for the same truck but advertised at $22,955. The owners son is a sales person there and told me the employee discount (friends and family code given to me by my brother-in-law) works like this: MSRP minus employee code minus rebates. This formula translated an MSRP of $29,500 minus $3,186 minus $5,000 rebate equals $21,314 (plus tax, title, and license). This would be about $686 better than the deal I got, but I am still very happy with my purchase. I guess I get free car washes for the life of the vehicle and I live about a quarter mile from the dealer so I'll try to make up that $686 over 5 years (if average cost of a car wash is $6, then I need to get it washed twice a month!). Whew! At least gas prices are now about $2.56 gallon here in Minneapolis, MN.

Found website. Reread your message 8K off an 05, now I understand. Forgot to add in my previous message. A broker I spoke with promised more like $4600 off MSRP for a coupe. Haven't heard yet how much off for conv. Doesn't make sense to me that a broker could get a better deal for me than a high volume dealer. Any ideas? Has anyone out there ordered from Kerbeck or Les? kerbeck hasn't returned my calls. How was your experience? What kind of real delivery times are there? I will most likely do the museum delivery, but up here in the northland, our vette driving days are limited to 6-7 months, so if I can find one for a great deal I will pull the trigger on it. Also 07 production begins in July so ordering now, may result in me picking up the last 06. I would appreciate to hear any real build times others have experienced. Dealers promise 6-8 weeks, but who knows. Thanks again -- Corvette is the ONLY true American sports car, and I am anxiously awaiting my C6 :D

Hello, cp website? What is that website addy? $8000 under sticker is the best deal I have heard. Wow. I have been researching, $4k off coupes and 5 off convertibles is the best I can find -- Kerbeck and (Les Stanford Chev). I will be purchasing this summer. I would appreciate any ideas from those who have experience ordering the c6. Someone posted the idea that 07's maybe cheaper? Does anyone know of any changes to the 07 model year? Thank you in advance for any info. Folks, don't bother with your local dealers if you are looking to order. Most don't have the allocation, and they are a huge ripoff. :(
