The downside is that I would have to pay MD taxes and tags when I brought the Aveo back to Baltimore. Another dealership (Jerry's)here in Baltimore is alleging that this dealership (Fox)that gave me that quote did not mention the freight charge. Jerry's is alleging that Fox is trying to sell me a vehicle that belongs to Jerry's. The Sales Manager at Jerry's wants me to get the vin number so he can see if Fox is trying to sell me "his" vehicle. Ack - I just want to buy a car. What's with the drama?

I have emailed 3 local dealers in the Baltimore, MD. My parents live in Newport News, VA and they took a look at the car for me as my car is dead in the water so I could not do it myself. I'm looking at the Aveo because I have an family member who works for GM and could get me a discount

Red Tag Event: by blkhhr on Mon Jan 02 01:35:46 PST 2006; I just took delively of a black HHR 1LT on new year's eve. I was able to take advantage of the Red Tag pricing and got the sticker price of $19,970 down to a few dollars over $19,000. The dealer I've been going to for years sold all three HHR's in stock that day. They are going QUICK and dealers don't seem to be taking advantage of their popularity. I've only had the car for two days now but I really love it and just hope there aren't any problems associated with the fact that it's a first model year vehicle. This trendy little car has more features than my TrailBlazer that was over $10,000 more! :shades:
