i have been offerd a fully loaded chevrolet tahoe ltz - the elctric running boards.. a sticker price of 53,140. if i can get a selling price of 49k with the 0% financing on an 07 is that a good deal or can i do better You can do better. There are ads in the Tampa, FL area for $10k off MSRP (that's w/the special financing). We recently bought an 07 Suburban and had other financing so we received the rebates and got about $14k off MSRP. Check all the dealers in your area for any ads and maybe negotiate w/the internet dept instead of a regular salesman.

We purchased an LS 4 door in March as we needed an additional car so that my daughter could use her moms car for after school activities. The car has A/C, automatic transmission and spoiler.... that's about all the options. Surprisingly, the keys are fought over when someone wants to run and get something. The car is comfortable, and very easy to park. Surprisingly, the little 4 cylinder has lots of pep and sips the gas sparingly. Other than lack of storage space for little items like sunglasses and other crap, I find it a blast to drive. I got a really great deal on the car, $13,500 out the door... that's with tax!! I did get the supplier discount and and additional $1500 in rebates for a local car show plus a Chevy cash back bonus. I paid more than this for a Honda motorcycle with one third the content... what a bargain. To top it off was the 5 year, 100,000 mile warranty. What a sweet deal, we're happy with the entire transaction.
Re: Chevy Colorado: Prices Paid & Buying Experience

Hi, my brother just bought a 2006 Chevy Colorado Regular cab, 2WD, 5-speed manual Transmission, 2.8 liter/4-cylinder. He was telling me over the phone that the MSRP on the truck is $15,330 and the Invoice price is $16,260. when he said this, i got a very bad feeling that he got taken by the salesman. I looked over my papers from the purchase of my 2004 Silverado that i bought new back in mid-2004. It had an MSRP $27,260 and the Invoice price of $24,096. I believe that the Invoice for my brothers truck includes the Factory Holdback and possibly other in-valid charges. Can anyone on this forum tell me if i am reading these numbers correctly? Should the Invoice price always be quite lower than the MSRP? I read this really good site that is very imformative. The Factory Holdback is not supposed to be included in the buyers price as it is given back to the Dealership once it sales the vehicle. Please contact me if you have any information on this issue. Thanks, Juan, Tampa, FL
