That is basically a free loan for 5 years. Forget about the $2000 incentive. Interest rates from banks or credit unions are between 5.5 and 6.5% with good credit. With a $30,000 loan at 6% for 5 years you will spend $4,799.04 in interest on the loan. A lot more than you saved with the $2000 incentive. As for negotiating a price at the dealer, I would not pay more than invoice. There is a $440 Factory to Dealer incentive on most Silverado�s and I would make them give you every penny of it. The sales person may not be aware of the incentive but the sales manager definitely knows so don�t get to rude with the sales person just yet. Make sure that you find out exactly what this truck's price is before committing to lease it. If the selling price is actually $46,400, that represents a $2,800 discount from this truck's MSRP. The truck that you described probably has a spread of around $4,800 between its full MSRP and its dealer invoice price. I am not intimately familiar with what the market is like for the '07 Suburban in your ares, but you still have $2,000 to play with. Bought is yesterday!: by gasguzzler on Fri Jul 30 11:43:20 PDT 2004; After extensive research, my family of 4 (including me, my husband, a 7 yr old & a 3 yr old) picked up our new silver Maxx LT last night in Little Rock, AR! I absolutely love this car. We got all options & the 1SB package for 22,200. Used the $4000 rebate to get to this price. I have a lot of reading to do to figure everything out! The satellite radio is awesome! I don't know what I did without it before! Our 2nd car is a Dodge Durango which is in the shop getting a re-built transmission right now. We looked at the Scion XB, & the Matrix. For a few more thousand, I think the options on the Maxx are quite worth the money.
