Two weeks ago I purchased my first "brand new" car. The last car I bought was a year old and I researched it for a year, but this time everything happened suddenly because my 22 year old daughter was in dire need of a reliable car, so I ended up giving her my car and was going to drive my husband's car until I found something. I went to Santa Rosa with the idea to just look with my first choice being Lexus as I have driven 2 different Toyota Camrys over the last 10 years and wanted to upgrade what I drove, and that seemed to be the natural progression. Camry's are great cars, but I wanted something different. After looking at the Lexus dealership they had no used cars on the lot, and the new ones were out of my price range. I moved on to the Chevy dealer and looked at a 2014 Malibu. It was a nice car, but not what I wanted as I kept hearing my father's voice, "if you buy a new car get a Toyota or Honda" and he knew what he was talking about because he worked in the industry. Also...one of the Chevy salesmen was a rude, pompass, jerk who I felt was patronizing me, so he helped me decide NOT to get the Malibu. I don't know why it did not dawn on me until then to look at the Hondas. Tommy M. was the salesman who greeted me. I told him immediately I just had a bad experience and just wanted to just look. He was very kind and understanding about that. He asked me what I was looking for, so I gave him a description of what I wanted. He said he had something I might like, and left me and my husband alone for a bit so we could look at the cars on our own with no pressure which is what I needed at that moment. Just as my husband and I were looking at a white 2014 Honda Accord Tommy drove up in one that was exactly the same. I need to add Manly Honda was currently in the process of demolishing their main building, so all the cars had been moved and were close in together to prepare for the work to be done. The sales office was a bit chaotic too, but not really a bother to me at all since everything seemed to go smoothly with our sale, and what we wanted and could afford. With all the chaos Tommy did a fantastic job from start to finish. I felt good about what I was buying, as the solid value of the Honda brand paired with being able to get a new car instead of a used one, helped me make my decision. Tommy was very helpful, nice, and professional and expedited the process. We got a great deal on the financing, and I feel very satisfied. At the end of the sale Tommy showed me how to operate a lot of the technological features of the car. It was very helpful. I truly would recommend Tommy M., and Manly Honda to anyone who was thinking of buying a car. Thank you. Nicole
