I recently visited Honda of Santa Monica with a friend. He was trying to decide between an Accord, Camry, Aura, Altima and Impreza. His initial inclination was to just go with the Accord, a seemingly safe bet, but our salesperson was not very personable. He made us feel like we were doing him a disservice by asking to drive a specific Accord with specific option because he had to spend five minutes looking for the right vehicle. In addition, it was nearly impossible to have a normal conversation, so the entire test drive was uncomfortably silent. Of course, the salesperson never read into the fact that we really didn't care which vehicle we ended up with...we just wanted the easiest sales experience possible. We ended up buying an Altima elsewhere.
