Recommend this dealer? No Purchased a vehicle from this dealer? No, Poor experience with dealer personnel
visited Lexus of Marin twice in past 2 years, should have remembered why I left the first time and never went back. Our sales man, the second time, was not willing to negotiate the price of a new car, he insulted our intelligence, we caught him lying about the dealer cost of the car (as his numbers kept changing) AND to top it off, he was giving us the paperwork on a car we did not want. This is called the bait and switch, you don't realize you're signing paperwork for the car on the lot that is not selling. We were VERY clear about the car we wanted...his excuse when we caught this was that the paperwork meant nothing until we signed it, it was not that he was switching cars on us, it's just paperwork. BEWARE, this practice is very common. And once you sign, then they haggle with you over the mistake until they convince you to take the car you did not want. These people should be in jail.
