Bought a Used car

Bought a used car 4/2/2024, I was there from 11:35-6:30PM and I was late picking up my kids. The very next day the car wouldn't start! YAAY, they gave me the runaround all day finally decided to tow my car after telling me to just buy a new battery for it, It's now 4/10/2024 and I still haven't heard from them about my vehicle.

The team at AutoNation Volvo Cars San Jose went above and beyond to get me in an incredible new (to me) car. Although the car I was originally looking at sold before I could get it, they found an even better one for me at a very reasonable price. They also gave me a good deal on my trade-in. I would highly recommend them and will definitely be returning when I need a new vehicle in the future. Laura Blanc is an incredibly hard-working and responsive sales representative--ask for her!

I have been going to Volvo Stevens Creek for all my service needs for my '17 Volvo XC90. Every time I am greeted, provided info on what is due, clear estimates, prompt updates, and on-time delivery after the service has completed. All the service advisors are quite courteous and informative, showing dedication to customer service. Rental car option is a plus and ease of scheduling online is very convenient.

had an appointment but received no service

I made an appt for a Monday 8:30am drop off and it took nearly an hour to simply drop it off. By the end of the day, they never even looked at my car. The following day I called at 10am to make sure it would be serviced and ready for pick up by closing time and they said they hadn't even looked at the car and couldn't make that promise. They offered a rental car instead, but the rental car was only available across the street from the dealership and I could not pick it up anywhere else. I don't live anywhere near that dealership. This is completely unacceptable; not having a car for two days and then picking it up un-serviced. I don't live near the dealership and shouldn't be offered an appointment when they are clearly not able to fulfill the service, which I received 5 (!!) email reminders for. I still have to get my car serviced, so I'll be looking to get it done elsewhere going forward.

Friendly, professional, and supportive staff. I purchased a Tesla and after getting it home I noticed a cracked screen, called AutoNation Volvo, they did some research and took care of the issue. I asked them to take care of a couple small paint touch up and they did so without questions. I was new to all the in's and out's of a Tesla and they were very patient and through in explaining everything to me.

Due to the construction of the site and more vehicles in the service line that day, my simple software update took 3 days. However, Emir is very responsive in updating progress status. The job is well done, but hope they can improve in the service time in the future.

Upon dropping off the car the night before for a 7:15 a.m. appointment the next day, was told they'll try to have it the next day by the end of the day. Just basic routine maintenance. However, since they were 4 technicians down, it might not be ready. Why book service appointments if you know you are back logged & cannot have cars ready in a timely manner? The car wasn't ready until the following day by noon. The quote i received was close to $200 more than expected, with no necessary/extra services required or recommended. I was told I would be kept updated on the status of the car but I had to call them late afternoon to find out the car would not be ready.
