I visited several Lexus dealerships in the area as well as in the bay area. I was first narrowing down which car I wanted and getting pricing. All the dealerships did treat me quite nicely, however Lexus of Sacramento stood out to me. A man named Mike K. helped me. I very much appreciated he respected that I was just looking for pricing, nothing more. He provided all info I needed and took me on a "tour" of the car type I had chosen to show me the different options. When I was ready to purchase, I followed my instincts and returned to Lexus of Sacramento. Mr. K. was there to help me again. I originally used Costco pricing, however I located a lower price elsewhere. There was absolutely no problem lowering the price. I must say this was the most civilized car purchase I have ever made!! There was none of the crazy back & forth pricing stuff. None of the, "well, how big of a payment can you afford" stuff. The transaction was done in record time. Mr. K. made sure to show us around the dealership and introduce us to their key people. I made sure to pay attention to the way everyone was conducting business there. I deeply appreciated the way they respectfully treated their customers. Also of note, after you buy the car, they have a "delivery specialist" who shows you around the car. I really was not in the mood to hang around, however, I must say I ended up very happy I did. I would have spent hours on end reading thru the manual to figure things out. I appreciate I can pick up the phone anytime and ask "how does this work?" To me, I rate car buying right up there with getting a root canal. Well, I have to change my mind. This was the most painless car purchase I have ever made! I think all car purchases should be done in such a civilized manner.
