I was passing through the creidt union at Meriwest and stoped by to purchase a car. I test drove 2-3 cars and decided on one to buy. I purchased a used 2005 Kia Amanti with miles of 31136 VIN no KNALD124155064224. They told me this car was in good condition and there had been no accidents. Well, about three months I started having problems with the car and had my front end alignment done and they could not fix it to the way it should be fixed per the specs. Then I took the car to the Kia dealership and had to pay $68.00 for them to inspect and verify the car had been in an accident. I then told Autowest Honda in Roseville and it was like pulling teeth and they were trying to blame me for the accident. I finally got a person in the finance department to help me get my down payment back, plus some of the payment of the vechile. Well, when Autowest Honda from Roseville came back to San Jose at the Technology Credit Union downtown, they wanted me to pick out another car close to the price of the other car. The Kia was fully loaded like a mercedes with leather and heated seats ect. I looked around and did not see anything that was close to what the Kia had. They told me their Toyota Camry XLE Certified car would be the best and closes one to the Kia. I test drove the car and purchased this on October 27, 2007 used 2005 odometer 38023 VIN 4TBE330K35U550169 and having to put down another $5,000 for down payment when I was not suppose to, they were to transfer the $5,500 that was as a down payment from the Kia to the Toyota and they reniged on the promise. This car seemed to be fine up till now. I reveived a card in the mail from Toyota on Capitol Expressway for a free appraisal on a trade in. Tony the certified appraiser looked at the car and told me the car had been in an accident in the front end of the car and the frame is bent and the color of the car is different. The original stickers that should be on the car when looking at the engine are not there. Also, I had to replace the battery, and I am having electrical problems with the car also. He said the car was hit in the front pretty hard that the engine is messed up and the car will not last much longer and I should get rid of the car soon. I asked how could the car pass as a certified car? When Autowest Honda in Roseville stated there were no accidents on the car and how did the car get Certified? Being it was in an accident. I was shocked that the car was in an accident before I bought it from them. They gained $10,500 in down payment on two car that were in accidents and I got very bad service and very bad cars. I turned them into the BBB and they favored my findings and rewarded $5,568 paid back to me by Autowest Honda in Roseville and they had 30 days to pay me and the 30 days are up and still no money. I advise everyone NOT to buy cars from these people, all you will get is a car that has been in an accident. I could say if you were to go down there and purchase a car today, you will get one that has been in an accident. If I can get help some way or another that would be great. I am looking for all my down payment, plus stress from driving to accident cars and have driven my family and grandchildren in two cars that are very unsafe.
