I received an email promotion about $5,000 off of a Honda Accord V6. I gave the dealership a call and spoke w/ Gus Stevenson. Gus confirmed the price of the Honda Accord EX-L V6 was $24,855. I made an appointment for the next day. We got to the dealership a few hours early. Gus greeted us and showed us the different colors and models. We also sat in different trim levels. After we picked the car we felt the most comfortable with, we went for a test drive. After the test drive we went over the numbers and financing. Instead of opting for $1200 and 0.90% APR we went with the lower price and 3.99%. The trade in process was a little difficult because Gus had to go back and forth with the manager instead of us dealing directly with the manager. This was different from my other experiences with other dealerships. The finance department was excellent as well. It wasn't as time consuming as other dealerships and they weren't insistent on selling us extended warranties or other extras. I really enjoyed purchasing a car from Gus Stevenson. Gus is very knowledgeable about Hondas and up front about costs and financing. He's not aggressive and does not attempt a hard sell or try to influence the buyer. He provides any help or information so the buyer will be comfortable with the decision they make. All in all it was a pleasure. Fastest car purchase in my experience. In the past I spent most of the day at a dealership, but at Anderson I was out in about 3 hours.
