Like most people out there, my past dealings with car dealerships was the stuff of nightmares, so I went into this potential purchase with full battle armor and Thor's hammer at the ready. But the strangest thing happened at Keyes: I got a very fast and even more $$$competitive response via my emails, and when I showed up to actually buy the car? It went smooth as silk. To be totally honest - I was shocked. I told them in my emails that I wouldn't go for any tricks or monkey business, and oddly enough, there was none. Zero. They sold me an awesome, brand new 2013 Tuscon at the best price of any Hyundai dealership within 25 miles. In fact, the dealership where I went to do the test drive, nearer my home, was asking $5,500 more than the price I ultimately got it for from Keyes. Read it again kids: Keyes sold me the car for $5,500 less than their competitor. And when I arrived to actually buy the car, they guys there, all of them, from my salesman's assistant to the finance guy, were REAL people. Regular folks who didn't talk in gibberish/circles like the guys over at my test-drive dealership. Sure, I'm "happy" with my experience at Keyes Hyundai, but the even greater feeling, is one of sheer relief that I didn't have to fight the dragon... again.
