I own a 2009 XF Supercharged. I am new to the Area. I just wanted to get some service related questions answered. I called Jaguar Land Rover Livermore and left two voice mails for 'Dave', the Service Manager. Both calls were not returned. In my third attempt, the woman answered the phone defended Dave's situation for not returning the call. Apparantly he is the Service Manager and the only Service Advisor at this dealership. She insisted that I make a Service Appointment to have the car looked at! I dont need the card looked at. I just have some questions. I am used to better treatment from my luxury car dealerships (Jaguar, Lexus and BMW). Well, I guess Livermore Jaguar is not for me. I called [another dealership] I got my answers. I had same good service from [a different dealership] where I bought the car.
[One of those dealerships] is a long drive and [the other] is even longer. But I care how I am treated by the business who takes my money. So, for future Service of my Jaguar, I have to take it to one of these dealerships.
BTW, The lease on my wife Lexus SUV is running out in Febrruary next year amd we are planning to get a Range Rover Sport. Guess which dealership we are not going to!
