I had the pleasure of buying my Limited Sonota last week, April 8, 2011 and Rick Taylor was my salesman. A few weeks prior, I went to test drive, and I took out several cars. Rick was the one to field all questions, and happily explained all the features each car has. He really enjoys his job. There was NO pressure to buy. I was just learning all about Hyundai, and why their reputation as a company was getting such good press. It was purely an information gathering experience. Absolutely no hard sell, respected my time, and zero pressure to buy that night. That impressed me. When I decided a week later that I wanted the Elantra 2011, I was on a long waiting list. Several weeks went by, and they could not get in the car with my choice of color. So eventually I decided to get the Sonota (which is lovely) and the transaction with Rick was VERY pleasant and helpful. I got the car for $1000 under invoice. His boss, Juan is a bit of a stickler. He would not throw in any perks to seal the deal. Other places like Tustin Hyundai offer free oil changes (3 years) and free car washes for the life of your car. Juan quickly declined that, seemed irritated that I would even ask. Know your numbers before you go in. Print out any email offers you have received elsewhere, see if they will match them. Rick Taylor (my salesman) made the experience quite pleasant, I felt respected and appreciated. He is very low key, no pressure, no games. I would have to say, it is because of Rick that I gave my review such high marks.
