First of all....WOW! If you read the reviews of this dealership, it certainly fits the definition of a love/hate relationship. It seems that you either "love em or hate em'... For us, our recent experience was fantastic. My wife wanted a white Sportage (damn things are hard to find in white...). Regardless, after much searching (internet), I found two of them in NorCal, and both of them were at Premier Kia. Upon contacting the dealership by phone and speaking with Luke (our salesman), I explained that we didn't need the car, but my wife wanted one I explained that if we could negotiate an agreeable price, I'd make the two hour drive to Fremont. Now, I'm no 'pushover' when negotiating for anything. I understand that the dealership has to make money...I get that. But, I certainly want to minimize what they make from us. I like keeping my money! My initial internet offer to them was FIRM and FAIR. I did a lot of research before committing to that price. After a few phone calls and multiple text messages with both Luke and Wyatt (the sales manager), we reached an agreement.. Since the phone calls and texts were numerous, upon reaching a verbal agreement, I asked Wyatt to text me the material specifics of our "deal" to avoid any confusion. I needed something in "writing'! Wyatt texted me the specifics immediately and I set up a morning appointment with them for the next day. During our drive the next morn, I explained to my wife that IF we got any substantive change to "the deal" not to our benefit, (I've heard that some car dealers are known to change things...really.....nah...lol ) we would promptly leave. No discussion.. no negotiation... She agreed. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Luke. He was very polite and outgoing...nothing but good things to say about him, both personally or professionally. He had both cars available for preview. My wife picked the one she preferred, Luke handed over the keys, and off we went on our test drive. The drive went very well. Upon returning to the dealership, I asked about meeting with Wyatt. Luke explained that he wasn't available that day. Uh oh....there's a potential 'red flag'...the guy who made the 'deal' isn't available. Here comes the 'surprises' that we all hear about from car dealers. *gulp* Well, lo and behold, Luke expressed that all was AOK with our agreement. There was absolutely no pressure to do anything differently than we had agreed. Of course, he offered, for our consideration, additional items/services that might be of interest to us, but when we declined, he respected our decisions. In closing, we have nothing but high praise and major kudos for this dealership. Luke (sales) was a joy to work with. Throughout the complete process, he was the epitome of a great guy who happens to sell Kia's. Although Wyatt (sales mgr) was unavailable that day (I found out it was his day off...we all deserve those once in a while...), his word was 'golden' and everything that we had agreed upon, happened. Also worth mentioning, we had our own financing, but the few moments that we spent with Rick in finance were also enjoyable. Simply put, we would highly recommend Luke, Wyatt, and Premier Kia for your next automobile purchase! I'm not sure that buying a car can qualify as a great experience, but if so....this is as close as one can get. Everyone was GREAT! Thank you Luke...you're the best.
