Rock Honda
Our son (US Army, in Baghdad) received a quote from Rock Honda through the USAA referral service. With power of attorney and the fact that our son is due home to the USA in a couple of months (end of 15 month rotation after four+ years posting overseas) we sought to help him with a car purchase.
Rock Honda would not honor the quote and the internet manager rather scoffed at it. Irnoic as our son has honored his commitments.
There was a decent sales person, Mike, but it was an old-fashioned, secretive process and we left without a car. If they cannot honor an agreement with USAA which gives them referrals, then USAA should drop them. They are also on the list with COSTCO and AAA. I would take care.
It has been a LONG time since we have seen that type of sales approach and we have had one or more Hondas in the family since our first Accord in 1977.
