I purchased a 2008 Toyota Highlander. Before signing anything, I was promised the vehicle was in perfect running condition and was promised it was equipped with XM. They were both a total lie. One of the salesman actually destroyed the battery and alternator by attempting to charge the battery backwards. They were so fried that the battery was venting and leaked battery acid all of the engine, everything under the hood, and all over my driveway. The dealership finally fixed it at their own cost after many fights; however they refused to pay for and install the equipment the salesman admitted to promising was already in the vehicle. Many, many managers later, they finally agreed to do it, as long as we paid for 30% of the cost of the equipment. After getting the car back yesterday, we've discovered that they've installed the wrong thing and is of absolutely no use to us and is going to end up costing us more, now. Don't ever go to this dealership. They will lie to you about absolutely everything and not return your calls. Chris in Service and Aki in Customer Relations are good, but the General Sales Manager is nothing but [violative content deleted]. He refuses to make deals for anything claiming how much money he's already lost and calling you stupid for actually suggesting that they do what's right. You'd be much better off going somewhere else who you can actually trust. My next phone call after Service Relations, again, will be my attorney.
