Ron DuPratt Ford is the friendliest, most knowledgeable, easiest-to-work-with dealer I have ever encountered. We placed an order for a new Hybrid Ford Maverick in 2022 because the truck was so popular they could not be found on the lot. Ron DuPratt kept us informed of status all along the way, initially advising us on what features would ensure a faster delivery and then, when the car suddenly came up for assembly and shipping, helping us through the process while we were out of town when the car finally arrived. Overall - despite the wait from Ford - a hassle-free positive car buying experience.

I had been looking for a Ford Maverick hybrid Lariat, which were in high demand and very few were on dealers' lots. I had checked with Ron Dupratt and all the hybrid Lariats were already sold. They said they would keep an eye out for me if they found an available one. A couple of month later James McClure contacted me and offered me what I was looking for at MSRP (which I could not find anyone doing that around me). I drove the truck home the next day. Very easy transaction and no hidden "gotchas", great sales.

Bill Crossley the Internet Sales Manager took care of us and did a fantastic job in explaining the ins and outs of how everything worked on my purchase of my 2023 F-150 XLT. Bill is a down to earth people person, and treated us like we were his family. He deserves a 5 Star review!! Tony Castro the Sales Manager did a bang up job, and took care of some minor issues on the truck and went above and beyond to get us the lower APR on our financing!! Way to go Tony!! Tony definitely looks out to address the needs of the customer. He is very customer service driven and deserves 5 Stars as a manager !! Tiffany Martell is very friendly to her customers when it comes to the F&I functions of the deal. So in my opinion: Ron Dupratt Ford gets a 5 Star review from me and my Wife Patricia. Please continue to address the needs of your customer base, and you will be a very successful dealership, Thank You.

I bought my first ever brand new car from this location. Ian was great at getting me into a vehicle that I completely love, from the extra safety features I've never had all the way to the color! I had a very bad experience with sales manager Ron. He was dishonest with pricing on the vehicle I wanted to purchase. After agreeing on the purchase price, then he came back saying it’s not available. That happened twice. I never experienced such a shady business practices anywhere.

When we purchase our 2019 Ford Fiesta ST it was easy, everyone was super nice. Once the paperwork was signed, that's when the customer service stopped. After only a couple of days of owning the car, I noticed quite a bit of water in the rear passenger floor area behind the driver seat. It was not just a little damp, there was a good amount of water sitting in the floorboard. That is when the customer service at Ron DuPratt tanked... HARD! Next morning, I took the car to Mike in the body shop at Ron DuPratt. Mike could not have had a worse attitude or cared less about the brand-new vehicle flooding itself, said it'd be a while before the car could be seen. Wait, what? It took another displeased trip to the sales department to get the car seen. A couple of days later, after no calls or updates what so ever, we went by to get a rental as we were down a car. As we were standing in the service department hoping for help, none of the present Ron DuPratt Ford staff was particularly eager to help, but after another trip to the sales department, we did receive a rental car. On Monday, we contact Ron DuPratt Ford again, since evidently them contacting customers with updates isn't a thing. I was told they were not able to find any leaks and told us to come to pick up the car. Which we did and the car was returned to us with someone's boot prints on the flooring and a stained driver's seat. Next day, the car flooded itself again. At this point, we had under 200 miles on it in the 2 weeks we've owned it, 1 week of which Ron DuPratt had the car. The GM Barry promised that the car would be either a) fixed by tomorrow or b) replaced with a new vehicle. I was called the following afternoon and told the leak was found. After driving by the body shop, it turned out that the leak was still not found, and the car was sitting out torn completely apart in the rain as they are trying to figure out the leak. I headed over to meet with Barry and Scott, again, showed them pictures of the car and explain to them there is no way we are keeping that car. The leak has not been located and now the entire inside of the car has been removed while being exposed it to the elements as all the work was performed outside, we weren't interested in keeping that car for obvious reasons. They agreed on replacing the car with a white one. On Friday, I drove by the body shop to peek at the car and even MORE of the car was torn apart. Now they have the rear bumper and passenger tail light off with all the tail light bulbs and wires exposed to the weather and rain. To our surprise, this morning Scott called us to tell us that they are getting our car together and should have it done by Monday. Little lost because the last conversation we had was that he was getting the new white one for us. At this point, Scott lied to us stating the white one was sold, which is easy to verify with a call to the corresponding dealership and provided a story that locating another car has them in Los Angeles and so on. Shortly thereafter, Barry the GM called stating the car should be ready to be picked up by Monday. The leak has been magically found and fixed. When asking about the leak, Barry could not answer where the leak was, how it was fixed, but bottom line, it's fixed and the original promise he made to get me a different car appeared to be off the table and they expect us to take back a car they treated like garbage and let sit out in the rain with electrical wiring exposed for 5 days

Rude, condescending salesman

I am buying a highly optioned F-150 this summer and planned to use True Car or a similar buying service. However, I've lived in Davis for years and Ron Dupratt has had a reputation for being different than the Sacramento dealerships in that they had sincere, genuine sales people who were respectful and did not play all the car salesman games. So I stopped in to ask a few questions about the vehicle and encountered Brandon. He seemed irritated to have to answer questions when there was not an immediate sale in sight, and his attitude was condescending and rude. At one point he said "that's what I'm trying to tell you". I left with the feeling that I would never be back and will just use a car buying service. So my advice is to either avoid this dealership, it's no different than the others.

Our salesman was great. He could make the sale without asking his supervisor, the sales manager etc. We were quite impressed that we didn't have any pressure or sales games. No buyers remorse. This is the third vehicle we purchased from Ron Dupratt Ford. We were on our way to Sacramento to purchase a F150 used 2015. Jim for five thousand more got us into a new 2017 with all the incentives, rebates, managers special. We just stopped to get a part for my Ford Escape 2009. The managers special was out front, a very nice lady on her way to lunch stopped to see if we needed help, she answered what she could and went and got JIM. After her lunch she popped back up and asked everything okay. The finance man didn't jerk us around either. We purchased the premium warranty along with the maintenance plan. Very impressed with the whole team.

Brandon was the most fantastic sales representative we have EVER worked with. He has sold my family two trucks in one month and we cannot say enough positive about the experience and competitive pricing. Friendly, experienced staff. Internet sales rep on the ball and really made EVERYTHING possible. Got pre approved via phone, text, and email, whatever was available moment to moment. Finance officer Ron Kostusak was simply comforting, exuding competence. BTW, I bought a REALLY nice F150 for a very reasonable price, and the list of checks and service rendered to the truck prior to my purchase makes me smile. New brakes, alignment, and 4 brand new Goodyear tires means a bundle of maintenance delayed for at least a year. Seriously, brand new Goodyears. Running out of space for praise. Thank you Shannon, Ron, Scott and I hope I have her name right, Rachel. Nice lady who's deck is closest to Shannon.

My entire buying process was smooth and hic-cup free. Working with Bob (in finance) was a breeze; his process is streamlined, efficient, and fun as his humor/sarcasm made the signing process a lot less tedious.
