Bubble-gum smacking kid answered the phone, this was after a 30-minute hold last weekend, and calling earlier this moring, waiting 1 1/2 hours for a call back...I finally called again. Service doesn't take appointments on Saturday? What's up with that? I've never had a dealership state this. Explained that I had a recall notice for the instrument cluster and it has been acting up for months, and needed a 50k mile service. Nope, won't do it. Manager gets on the phone. He didn't care. Took my name, but not model, phone number, nothing. Tells me to "get here early, like 7:30". I explain I have a commitment and cannot make it there until 8:30, Saturday. Big, heavy sigh...(I was bothering him I guess?). I then explain that I have a recall notice for the Yukon's instrument cluster and he says, "Well, THAT can't be done on Saturday. We only do light service, like oil changes. I can't guarantee anything." HUH? What's wrong with this picture? I have your product. You won't schedule an appointment? It's clear you don't want to talk with me. Tell you what, with all of the GMC centers closing, my next vehicle will not be a gas-guzzling GMC and it certainly won't be a vehicle from Lehmers. They could learn something from their neighbors down the road. Heck, they can learn from [another shop] who WILL be happy to service my Yukon. My advice? Don't bother with Lehmers. Strike 3-
