Bad experience

This is for their Internet sales department. Summary: Very bad buying experience; wasted time and walked away without buying I have secured a very good offer from another dealer and ready to go there. Goudy said that they were going to match it, after knowing the details of my offer terms (price of the new car, options, trade-in values). Since it is closer, we stopped by. Plus, the guy sounded genuine. What a mistake I had made! First, they dragged the process --- even we had done our homework, they insisted on we checked the car (and we had to tell them several times that we do not need to test drive). They also reported that the available color (from their online inventory) is not in stock as it was "just" sold. Second, they gave a ridiculous price on the trade-in --- they were even significantly lower than any online appraisal places. Then I was given a look "That is our used car sales manager -- I cannot do anything about it. " and handed over the keys. What a waste of time! I lost 2 hours of my life! I should not have believed in them! I walked away -- I decided not to negotiate with people that I can not trust or think they can cheat their ways out . Bottomline: I did not even get enough time to go back to my previous dealer and I have to take a day off from my work to do it. I will definitely not recommend this dealer to others. In this digital age, everyone is informed and educated. However, those guys still hang on the old techniques to try to get people into their ways..
