After 3 straight days looking for a 2012 Honda Odyssey in a specific color and trim, visiting three other dealerships and leaving disappointed by dishonesty (Scott Robinson Honda), poor sales tactics (Honda of Pasadena), or ignorant sales people (DCH Honda of Gardena), I finally found a team that inspired confidence and trust at Goudy Honda. The experience of trying to find the best out-the-door price via email quotes and phone follow ups proved to be valuable in understanding the experience of visiting the dealerships themselves, because at Goudy they chose not to over-promise anything and actually said there was a limit to how low they could go, but that because they have a large inventory they could be flexible. Allen L. was my salesperson and he couldn't have been nicer or easier to deal with (and by nice, I do not mean the fake-nice, but he was to the point, and clear about what he was saying, while still being personable). After doing all my homework on pricing and being miserable for 3 days trying to get straight answers and negotiating prices and features, I was simply so relieved to give my business to a team that wasn't trying to jerk me around.
