What does your contract say? Is there a clause in there that you will receive whatever the incentives/rebates at the time of delivery? If so, then that is what you will probably get. Buick has this verbage in their current incentive offer on their page "**For Cash Allowance or APR, take retail delivery by 3/3/2008. For Bonus Cash, take retail delivery by 3/3/2008." Back in September they probably had about the same verbage with a different expiration date. Dealer contract usually (don't have a copy of one handy) notes that you will receive the rebate/incentive that the manufacturer has at the time of delivery. If the incentives go up you will benefit, if they go down you will not. This really should have been made clear and emphasied when you signed the deal for future delivery. I doubt the contract wording would leave them open to honoring a manufacturer's rebate that has expired.

I was thinking GSM was the supplier discount program. Anyway https://www.gmsupplierdiscount.com/ip-gmsupplier/ is the site to check out. Look under FAQs at the top and it explains more about the program. www.gmfamilyfirst.com looks to be the GM employee site. Interesting that a GM employee can get up to 6 authorizations per year in 2007. Looks as if they can give an authorization to a friend to allow the Supplier Pricing. What is the GM Supplier Discount for Friends? Individuals who receive GM Supplier Discount for Friends pricing authorization numbers can enjoy the same preferred pricing that GM suppliers enjoy. Back to top Who is eligible to share the GM Supplier Discount for Friends pricing? GM active and retired employees. I did hear a month or so ago that one of the $1000 incentives was NOT allowed under the Supplier Discount on maybe the Acadia so some folks were getting near supplier pricing plus the discount for a better deal. We purchased under the Supplier Discount program in 2004 but I think the program has changed a little since then. But it is really a good way (if you are eligible) to get to rock bottom pricing without having to really wheel and deal to get there. In 2004 on benefit was that they could not charge a DOC fee so since that was preprinted on the form they lowered the price that amount so it would offset that.

GM Supplier Pricing. If you work for a company that is a 'supplier' for GM, you could have the plan available. Your Human Resources department will be able to give you your company ID and set up access for you. Other manufacturers have similar programs. Benefits of the program are usually getting pretty low if not rock bottom pricing without having to deal real hard. Sometimes you also don't have to pay a DOC fee to the dealer.

Not enough info to give you an answer...wondering more about if you can economically justify dumping the F150 for an Enclave. IF you drive 25,000 miles a year and get 12 MPG in the F150 and could maybe get 21 MPG by shifting to an Enclave, that could save you maybe 70 gallons a month. At $3/gallon, you would be saving $210 a month is gas. You then mention 12,000 miles a year, so if I adjust the calculations to about half that mileage, you would only save $100 or so a month in gas. If you are only going to be saving $100/month is gas, does it really make sense to trade? One kicker of course is that you will have to roll $4,879 of negative equity into a 36 month lease or about $130 to $140 a month right there. So, will you be any better off doing that vs keeping the F150 for a couple of years until it is paid off or you are at least even and not upside down? Beware leasing for low mile allowance then having a large mileage penalty at the end. Wondering about that since you quoted both 25K & 12K miles. I can't comment on the lease deal you were offered...I have not leased and have not sat down and gone through the process to see how it works. Sorry on that point. Just one thought, some folks like the Ford Freestyle...I have seen them advertised for the low $20K range lately, some have said $25K for a loaded Limited. 7 passenger as well, maybe not on the level of the Enclave but if your decision is really economic, it might be worth a look. Good day, Bill
2006 LaCrosse CXS

Bought new 2006 LaCrosse CXS from Wilson County Motors in Lebanon, TN on September 11, 2006. MSRP was $32,490. Car had every option except Stabilitrack. Black with Grey interior. Negotiated price to $30,878. Used 0% APR that was being offered. No sales tax and $500 rebate for being active military. Have driven the vehicle just over 500 miles and have loved every minute of it so far. Lots of compliments and surprised looks once they found out it is a Buick. If the quality holds up, this will be my brand for years to come. Traded in 2001 Hyundai Elantra GT with 50000 miles for $3750 too. No issues with that car, but wanted a larger vehicle this time around.
