But it now also includes 2009 Enclave's, which I am sure will make some people happy.
P.S. Are you unhappy that GM does not offer Bluetooth on the Enclave? How do others feel? Wait till the 09's come out. They have bluetooth.
When you placed your order did the dealer say they had an allocation available? My understanding is that the dealers are limited in how many they can order based on several factors, all of which end up leading to a certain number of allocations. If your dealer took more orders than their allocations available, you may have ended up at the end of they queue. If they supposedly have an allocation available and then still can't get an order placed, then I don't know what is going on with your situation.
We also did not get the 2nd row center console, from what we see on the web page it doesn't offset the advantage of easy 3rd row access... but it can always be added later. The word on the street is that if the second row console ever becomes available it will not be able to be retro fitted to older vehicles. Lambda dedicated forums seem to think the necessary mounting features on the floor pan are not present in vehicles without the option. But since the option is not even available yet, who truly knows.
I am just guessing but it probably has to do with the size of your dealer or the number of Enclave orders they had already taken. My understanding is that dealers are given allocations based on many factors such as number of vehicles sold. It is possible that the dealer took the order knowing that they were not going to have an allocation for quite some time. I think the issue lies with your dealer not being up-front with you, not GM.
