I am considering buy a new 2009...so was hoping to get some info and what offers people are getting on this vehicle. I am hoping to lease (if GM is still writing leases) otherwise I would be in your shoes and trying to find a deal on a low mileage 2008.

Is GM still offering lease deals on the Enclave? Can you please provide me with the residual and money factor on the 2009 CXL (with 8 passenger bench if that makes a difference) on a 3yr/15k lease. thanks and Happy Holidays golic

Probably my best American car Dealership experience ever. My wife and I test drove a Yukon Denali first and then the Enclave. While the Yukon is a great truck, the Enclave really impressed me. I had originally test driven a lower level Acadia when they first came out about 18 months ago. This was my first time in an Enclave. I took the employee pricing plus the $1500 rebate and had pre-arranged my own financing so I knew what rate I qualified for. The dealer matched my best financing rate so I gave them the loan. Sticker price was $47,060. I paid $40,300 after getting the employee price and $1500 rebate. My Enclave CXL has the following options: Entertainment #4, 19" Wheels, Power Sunroof, Luxury Package, Driver Confidence Package, Trailering, Carbon Black Metallic Paint, Cargo Net & Cargo Shade. My dealer is Woody GMC Buick in Elgin IL. Not only the best buying experience I've ever had (I've purchased 12 cars in the last 20 years - all American) but even the delivery portion was exceptional with a thorough introduction and explanation of my cars features. I put a couple hundred miles on the car this weekend and I'm very pleased with the car. Even the transmission "lag" that I've read so much about isn't a concern. The only time I notice anything is when I'm in overdrive at highway speed and I go up a significant grade. It's a little slow to downshift unless I depress the gas pedal. On a related note - I understand the disappointment some folks have expressed at the lack of low financing rates while the Employee Pricing is going on. I think it's wrong to say this is "bait and switch". Ultimately GM can only subsidize so much of the incentive whether through financing or below invoice pricing. If you wait until September when the '09s arrive on the lots you may get an even better deal - but the lack of inventory may make it harder to find a car with all the options you want (and without the options you don't). -Mike

I like this model & color, and trying to determine if this is a good deal: CX AWD Red Jewel tint paint Driver confindence package MSRP $35,705.00 Invoice: $34,035.00 (though Edminds Invoice price $33,710) Dealer Price: 33,700 Less conquest dollars $500 (not sure if this is true, but the dealer said GM reduced conquest dollars to $500 just 2 wks ago) Final price: 33,200 + TTL Is this a good deal?
Car_Man, Lease Terms 36mo & 39mo please!
by desgnconcpts on Fri Aug 10 06:32:29 PDT 2007
Hello Car_Man, There seems to be a lot of confusion on lease terms for the Enclave. Can you post the Residual Value and Money Factor for the following lease terms? 36 month lease/12,000 mi yr, 36 mos lease/15,000 mi yr 39 month lease/12,000 mi yr, 39 mos lease/15,000 mi yr I know GM has a 39 mo term that's pretty close to 36 mo and since the Enclave has a longer warranty, it might make the monthly payment in IL much more attractive since you can spread the IL taxes put into the lease over an add'l 3 mos!
