2009 Nov Money Factors: by namita on Sat Nov 21 18:41:57 PST 2009; Does any one knows what is current money factor for X5-30i ? Also, any possibility it will be lower next month? Sorry, I ma new to this so not sure how frequently BMW releases new MF? Nearing a deal on leasing X5-30i MSRP ~58000 and negotiated down after all rebates to ~ 53000 but not sure what should be the correct MF? I suspect dealer uses higher MF. Thanks,

First price out your car with the options you want on edmunds. You'll then know what the invoice is. Second, check out all available incentives and marketing support under incentives tab. You can use that to bring down the cost of the car below invoice. Next, look in this forum for the money factor and the residual for that specific model. It will be usually based on 36 months. Once all that is figured out, find a site that calculates lease payments based on the reduced cost of the car, zero down, and the rest of the pertinent info. You'll then know what the monthly payment should be. Call up both dealers, tell them what kind of car u want with what options, tell them you want to just pay drive off and tell them the payment you want to pay based on your research. Let them figure out everything else. I do all that over the phone . Once the deal is reached, have them run credit. You should only be in the dealership for no more than half an hour to pick up the car and sign the contract. Do not get sucked in without the deal and car worked out. I do this everytime I buy a car. Since the redesigned model is around the corner, I think 45K-46K should be a good starting point. Any thoughts on this from anyone?

December Lease Rates for 528: by freezedog on Sat Nov 21 06:51:40 PST 2009; Car_man or anyone: Do you think BMW financial will drop the MF in December for the 2010s? Right now the MF appears to be crazy high. I believe the current MF charged by BMW Financial is .0024 while most Dallas area dealers are marking it up to .0028 (6.72%). The 60% residual (for 12k miles), state tax credits, holiday cash, loyalty cash, and negotiated purchase price are great on this car right now. However, the extremely high MF is ruining an otherwise good deal. What is the likelyhood the MF drops in December to move inventory prior to the end of the year with the other vaiables remaining the same? When do we usually get word of the December numbers? Thanks in advance for any help.

2010 BMW M3 Sedan: by 2010bmwm3 on Sat Nov 21 02:37:40 PST 2009; I have been waiting for this car for 2 months. My old 2007 335i was lemon lawed due to too many problems with the high pressure fuel pump BMW's are having on the turbo engines. So anyways, this beast just arrived at the port in Cali 11-20-2009. No clue on how long customs and getting it from Long Beach, CA to San Diego will take. Maybe 2 to 5 days is my guess considering I had the dealer put a priority 1 on the shipment from the preperation center. My question is I have a quote of $500 over invoice and a Money Factor of .00290. So if you times that by 2400 you would get 6.96% converted into an interest rate, That doesn't seem so bad. I am just wondering before I go pick up the car sometime next week....Should I be concerned about the money factor at all? This is a 2yr lease at 10K per year. Thank you for your time.
