Re: lease rates for February [crzycool22] by tybalt33 on Thu Feb 08 13:17:40 PST 2007

Whois quoting you these numbers. I have been to several dealers in the Richmond VA area and spoke with South Bank Leasing. The best terms I have seen this month is a MF of 0.0009 Residual of 65% for a 30 month 15K year lease. To me that is a good monthly payment.Who is offering that rate?

Re: Cash purchase 2006 330xi [drivethegreen] by richmondmom on Fri Mar 03 16:06:34 PST 2006

Drivethegreen -- I recently ordered a similarly priced setup in Richmond, VA (scheduled to arrive in port of Baltimore on 3/16). My order: 2006 330xi gray metallic cold weather premium sport 18" wheels MSRP/invoice: $44,220 / $40,480 Paid: $42,325 I didn't think this was a super deal, but it was the best I could do talking with 3 dealers out here on the east coast for two weeks. I've heard of folks in CA getting $500 or so over invoice, but dealers seem to be getting $1,500 over invoice out here. Additional advice -- watch the TT&L fees that are not gov't mandated -- some dealers were looking for "doc fees" of up to $800. Dealers are trying to make thier money in one place or the other, so I found the process less frustrating by negotiating a "walk out the door" price which included all taxes, fees, etc. Good luck.

330xi in Virginia by richmondmom on Fri Dec 30 13:31:55 PST 2005

Just ordered a 330xi from Charlottesville, VA after talking with Fairfax, Sterling, and Richmond. 330xi (manual transmission) graphite metallic, premium, sport, cold weather, 18" wheels MSRP / Invoice = 44,220 / 40,480 Paid = 42,325 (invoice + 1,845) I don't think this was a superb deal, but the Richmond dealer was terrible -- playing games on the trade in, adding on for floor mats (how trite), and not very responsive to specific requests (e.g., "find me a car that matches these specs") Fairfax was pretty good to work with, very responsive, and offered decent prices, but seemed to have excessive fees (don't know if it's high doc fees or add'l taxes in Northern Va). I'm interested in what others are paying for the fees that are not state mandated (like sales tax). My fees came out to: sales tax = 1366.37 (3.2% in Va) doc fees = 399.00 other misc fees (tags, etc.) = 49.50

Re: Best deal on this BMW Z4 ? [kyfdx] by anumolu on Tue Nov 29 12:09:20 PST 2005

I got this 2.5L BMW Z4 for $399.63/month on a 39M /(10K/Year) lease program with $2450 paid to begin with. If I increased the milage the payment would be around $30 more which I might take later. I did this dela as I don't know how december is going to turn out on these Incentives/lease program. But I strongly feel I am paying easy $1500/- more on this whole deal. The cars defenetly fun to drive. Thanks for your suggestions made.
