I just purchased an 01 330i, 5 spd, white, tan leather, sport package, HK sound, Xenon, Premium pkg with 41K miles for $26,000 @ Advantage Certified in Manassas, VA. Excellent dealership with only quality, pre-owned (mostly pre-leased) BMWs.   I was looking specifically for this vehicle (white, sport pkg, Xenon) and found that there were plenty of blues and silvers available, but there was only one white one that fit my description within 200 miles of Richmond VA, so you shouldn't have too much trouble finding a blue one.   As far as what to look for and watch out for, I was told to look for two things; have the dealer check all of the prior service records for any chronic electronic gremlins (problems). Check when the brake pads were last replaced (they seem to go quickly). Then check the obvious for a used car, accidents, tires, paint work, etc.   Good luck! I have had my 330i for about a month and I absolutely love it.

I purchased an 01 BMW 330i last night. White with tan leather; premium package; Xenon; sport package (AWESOME M-style double spoke wheels); HK sound system; 5 spd (of course). It has 41K miles and I bought it for $26K. The price seemed fair since KBB was at $27,500 and edmunds was about the same. I bought it from Advantage Certified in Manassas, VA. Great dealership! This is my second BMW; the first was a '91 318is 5 spd. Wow, obviously no comparison to my old 318, but this vehicle is absolutely amazing. The I6 is just as advertised. . .silky smooth!!!   Just wanted to spread some of my excitement!
