2011 X5 Diesel - 12k miles/year. 36 month lease. MSRP - 62825 Neg Price - 52445 Down Payment - 3000 Sales Tax (VA) - 1579.35 Doc Fees and Tag - 279 & 200 respectively Monthly payment is coming out $739.17 (they used a 54% residual and money factor of 0.00235) What wrong with those number, any help would greatly be appreciated.
Hosts, Can you please give me lease rates for July 2011 on a 2011 535i? Also here is the lease deal I'm getting. 36month, 10k mi/month MSRP on a 535i with prem1, prem2 is 57675, selling price is 52235, about $800 below invoice because of the $1730 nav credit. Dealer is quoting me $743/month, but with 3% tax in VA, 59% residual, and 0.002 MF (from last month), I should be about $723/month Is this a good deal? Can I negotiate lower, because this is by far the best selling price I have gotten. Thanks.
What are your thoughts on the deal I was offered for a 2011 535i? MSRP: $57,625 Invoice: $53,020 Selling Price: $53,964 (includes tax, tags & title, & processing fee) Money Factor: 0.0028 (The dealer told me its .00231 if I put down 7 MSDs, so I'm assuming this equals a MF of .0028 with no MSDs - let me know if I've miscalculated this) Term: 36 months Miles/year: 15,000 Total Monthly Lease Payment (with $3000 down) according to the dealer: $819 When I run the numbers using the above figures (using a cap cost of $50,964, after subtracting $3,000 down payment from the selling price) I get that the monthly payment (with $3,000 down) is $766.34. Any idea why I can't get the numbers to produce the $819 monthly payment quoted by the dealer? At first I thought I hadn't accounted for taxes, but I live in VA and the taxes have already been factored in the purchase price. Please let me know if you have any thoughts. Also, what are your thoughts on the deal itself (selling price, MF, etc.)? Lastly, doesn't the MF exceed the amount that BMWFS allows dealers to charge above the base money factor? Thanks.
It is BMW of Fairfax, Fairfax VA.
I live in VA and just saw that the 5 series is priced at invoice on the American Express car buying site. May not be the case in other regions, but it's a good point to start negotiating off of. I ordered my 550 right when the car was available back in May and paid about $1,500 over invoice using the same program. Dealer wouldn't move below it since they didn't even have any new 5's on their lot yet when I was ordering.
