BMW 328i Pricing!
by htownpimp786 on Mon Mar 09 23:53:27 PDT 2009
I was trying to understand the market for buying a car right now in terms of pricing! I am looking at purchasing a 2009 BMW 328i sedan in Houston, TX. I was told by the dealership I visited that any 3 series sedan can be had for 3% OVER invoice. He said on average there is a 7% mark-up on those vehicles and he would let me take my pick at anything they have for 3% over invoice. Is that reasonable? I have seen others on the forum say that they are getting cars at invoice or below for the 2009 models? What should I be looking at paying for this car? I was looking to finance and take advantage of the 0.9% for 60 months with them paying for the first 2 car payments! Are there any benefits to leasing in terms of the PRICE of the car (any rebates or etc for leasing?) Please HELP! =)

Hi podguy. I don't have an exact date, but I have heard that the 2009 BMWs will start to arrive at dealers towards the end of the month. You may be able to get a more definitive arrival date by visiting the "BMW 5-Series Sedans" discussion. BMW has not published a lease program for the '09 5-Series yet, but when it does I suspect it to initially be much worse than its current lease program on the '08 model. BMW Financial Services charges a security deposit that is equivalent to cars' monthly payments rounded up to the nearest $50 increment. It will waive the deposit for free for returning lessees and in exchange for a .00015 money factor increase for everyone else. Car_man Host Prices Paid: Buying & Leasing Experiences Forum
Lease 2009 550i Houston,TX
by podguy on Mon Sep 01 21:06:55 PDT 2008
I am considering leasing a 2009 550i. When will the new pricing be available and what should I expect as a residual and money factor. The dealer I am dealing with has been very vague. What would be a reasonable amount of discount I should expect off of the MSRP? How does a security deposit impact the monthly lease? Thanks
