Buying a car from a BMW Car Dealer
What kind of factory to dealer incentives are there with x5's? I've seen that BMW has no holdback, but I'm guessing that same money shows up somewhere else?
I'm looking at the following configuration: Base MSRP$56,700 Black Sapphire Metallic$0 Tobacco Nevada Leather$0 Dark Burl Walnut wood trim$0 Premium Sound Package$1,500 Sport Activity Package$2,200 • Multi-contour seats$900 • 20" Light alloy Y-spoke wheels style 214-with performance run-flat tires$950 Technology Package$1,700 • Premium Package$3,500 3rd row seat$1,700 Running boards$300 BMW Apps$250 Destination & Handling:$875 The MSRP on this is $70,575. What should I expect to negotiate on this with all the available incentives. I don't qualify for Loyalty at this time. There is one very similar locally on the lot (with the addition of adaptive drive which I don't see as an option and no running boards).
Would you care to share how you negotiated such a great price?
Chris, My deal changed a little since I posted. I ordered a 528i with an MSRP of $60,525. The discounted price was $54,385 and then recieved the $1,000 loyalt. With $2,000 due at signing, my payment is $733+tx. And you? Eric
I just sat in a dealer for 2 hours that was a 2 hour drive from my house because I was getting an increadable deal!! A 2011 535i (M-sport, premium, Nav, etc). The car had an MSRP of 65,425. The dealer was discounting the car $9,500!! Thought it was too good to be true although it was an Internet price and other cars had similar discounts. I called and confirmed. Got to the dealer. Added the $1000 loyalty to the deal. They completed the deal with a MF of .00195 and res of 56%. Got all the way to the finance office, almost a done deal with a payment of $711+tx. At the last moment the finance manager walks in and tells them that BMW changed the residual on the car today to 49%!! Adding about $200 to my deal?? Obviously I storemed out! Is this true that the residual was lowered so much??
