And just because I want to get myself in MORE trouble, how does the MSD program work? How many SD can I give & how much does each lower the money factor? Thanks again!

Carman told me : "BMW Financial Services' buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2011 335 diesel with 12,000 miles per year are .00200 and 58%, respectively for consumers who qualify for its top credit tier. The residual value for a lease with only 10,000 miles per year is 1% higher" But the dealers around me all said .0024 (must be the .0004 markup), and 59% for 36 mos, and 10k miles. Also if you're interested, you can place down extra security deposits to lower the money factor for each SD (.00007 for each SD up to 7)

.00007 for each SD...max of 7 SDs... for, total MF discount of .00049 The MSDs are the same as any security deposit. The payment rounded up to the next $50 increment. So, if your payment is $699, then 7 MSDs would be $4900.

every SD drops the MF by 0.00005 up to 7 MSDs for 0.00049 reduction. plus the SD if you are not current BMW owner (leasee?).

Car man got this one wrong (even he can be wrong once in a while!). I did the zero down lease with the SDs.
