I can't keep the car because the seat is killing my back. Plus I have pesonal reasons for wanting rid of it. I bought it at a bad point in my life and every time I look at it, I'm reminded of it. Sorry for the psycho-babble. I worded it wrong when I said I can't afford the 325. I should have said that the monthly payments of a purchase were more than I wanted to spend, especially when I can't put anything down on it. I don't want to take out a 6 year loan. A 3 year lease would be good because I usually get sick of a car in that amount of time anyway. Thanks

Since I can't really afford to purchase a BMW, I'm thinking about leasing. However, I noticed that they want a crapload of money down. Are they stringent on this or is it negotiable? I also have a trade-in that I'm upside down on (2002 Camaro Z28). I've had it for sale for 2 months. Is there any chance that dealers vary on how much they will give you on your trade? Seems like the dealerships I have dealt with in the past all seem to have the same playbook. They rarely vary in their offers by more than $200-300. Thanks
