Do you see RFT abbrevation anywhere on your tires? If no RFT or DSST (typical for Dunlops) then your tires are not RFTs. I believe all sport package 18s were RFTs in 2007. My 2007 550 has Dunlop RFTs. BTW I do have a spare tire/

I have a similar offer for 2010 550 (MSRP $70,070). $2,250 out of pocket and $875 per month. I assume that your $2K down are not the cup cost reduction just the initial payment (first month and fees) still my deal seems to be a little bit better.
Negotiating on 328xi
by hollandog on Tue Nov 10 19:36:53 PST 2009
I was negotiating a 2010 fully loaded 328xi with a bunch of dealers. One of my local dealers agreed to my invoice + $300 offer not including the $1500 rebate over the email. When I got to the dealership the dealer added a few hidden charges to the cap cost. Which includes -$180 Training Fee (WTF?) -$300 Marketing + Advertisement Fee (seriously?) -$600 Labor charges (car wash labor, transportation labor..etc, right.) The dealer said BMW bills them for these charges and they are internal fees that don't show up on the internet invoices. Can I call that BS? The MSRP is $42990 and supposed with an invoice of $39595. He gave me $40975 as "their" invoice + $300. I gave time for him to explain the hidden fees then I walked away. He also told me that New York has a cap of $745 for max MSD. So you basically can't put 7 MSD to reduce the MF in New York according to him. Is it true?
2009 328i Convertible MF and Residual
by ejv207 on Mon Nov 09 13:31:49 PST 2009
Hi Car_Man, I am looking into a 2009 328i Convertible for a lease. First time BMW customer, I am in NY, need the MF and Residual for: 36 month/10,000 mi/yr 36 month/12,000 mi/yr Your response is greatly appreciated. I know there is a holiday credit of $1,500 and I saw somewhere an extra $1,500 in Marketing Support available. At this point in the year, would I be getting a better deal trying to lease a 2010 model year? Also, can you confirm what the maximum number or amount I can put down in security deposits that BMWFS allows? Thanks.
