Re: Good Price?? [wickedlfe] by itaddict on Wed May 28 14:23:01 PDT 2008

I am in Central NJ. East Coast. I am getting the following deal: 328xi 12k rolling everything except 1St payment and DMV fees. Assuming security deposit waived. Based on MSRP of $41,325. 36 month $566 with $565 plus DMV 528xi sedan MSRP $50,325 36 month $$719.00 with $719 plus MDV due at signing. Regards

I don't know where the Texas cars come in... If they come in through NJ, I doubt going East Coast would save that much time... It only takes a truck 1-2 days to drive to Texas from NJ. It isn't like they work any harder to get the close-by dealer's cars out of the VPC. Now, if they come in on the West Coast, then you might shave off 7-10 days by getting an East Coast dealer.. But, then you'll have to fly up and get the car, then drive it back.. Wouldn't be worth it to me, to save a couple of weeks on re-delivery.. Have you seen the price of gas?

Our buddy from Texas seems to have gotten a pretty good deal. Do you know how long the ED delivery takes for someone in Texas? I'm contemplating ED & seriously considering working through an east coast dealer so as to get the car a month (or more) earlier than I would if I dealt with a local or SoCal dealer that would have to deal with a Pt. Hueneme delivery. Texas is in the middle -- do they truck them from CA, truck them from NJ, or actually deliver them to Houston (or wherever)?

Short supply of coupes on the north east by cioccabmw on Wed Apr 04 10:02:20 PDT 2007

Currently there is a supply crunch on the coupes and drought of convertibles. If anyone is having a hard time getting a discount on a coupe or a convertible and you are in the pa, nj, ny area let me know. John Ciocca

330i Lease - Pricing and Leasing in another State by abarr566 on Sat Nov 19 18:48:16 PST 2005

Need input on price quotes I've received from two dealerships on the East coast for a 330i (sports package/ leather interior/CD changer/heated seats). Quotes are from NC and NJ (I travel for work so I can get the car in either place; however, I live in NC). Are there any special problems with leasing a car in a state other than the state of residence? In terms of price, MSRP on the car is $43,000. However, both dealers have offered the car to me at $40,800. MF at .00195. Are these reasonable offers or should I push for lower? Also, is the Sports Package overhyped or worth the $$$?
