2010 X5 3.0i lease help
by jpmp on Sun Nov 01 02:14:15 PST 2009
I'm considering leasing a new 2010 X5 3.0i. The suggested price including destination is $58625. I think the invoice on this vehicle is about 54000. Lease for 36 mos, 10K miles per year, $0 down. The dealer quoted me $970 per month including tax. Is this considered a good deal? wha't the current money factor and residual on 2010 X5 3.0i? Thanks for the help.
2010 X5 4.8

I'm considering leasing a new 2010 X5 4.8 (pretty loaded). The sticker price is $76,475. I would lease for 36 mos, 10K miles per year. The dealer quoted me $1,151 + tax as a lease payment. This sounds high to me. What should I realistically expect. I'm in Atlanta. Thanks fo the help.
CarMan - demo lease question

Hi CarMan, Can you please review my previous posted copied below and let me know your thoughts? by mlong9876 Aug 31, 2009 (12:58 pm) Save | Reply I'm a repeat customer and the dealer will take my car back early - 2 more payments - Pull ahead. The MSRP is 42,695 and they are selling it to me for 37,500 - 1000 lease cash. + capped taxes of 1412.03 for a total of 37,912. We're using the MF of .00135 and residual of 58% + 2% on a 36 months 12k yr lease. Total out of pocket is 1447.91 which includes first month (456.63), Aqu Fee (725) Fees and Ins (105) and upfront taxes (161.28) plus cap cost reduction of 1000 minus customer rebate of 1000 (a wash). The car only has 2k on it now and they will pull it from circulation at 4,000. TOP 1447.91 456.63 pm for 36 mos 12k per year When I put the calculations in, I see that it should be around 421.19. Please let me know your thoughts as soon as you can.

BMW lets you buy only the mileage you need till about 4 mos before you lease is over at only .01 more than what you would pay at inception. Therefore you aren't paying for what you don't need. I knew 15K was too much and 12k probably not enough and will gladly only pay for the overage I only use. Not a bad deal and I can keep the extra $$$ till I need to part with it.
2009 328i sedan - Tampa, FL

Hi all, Thought It would share my buying experience... Just got my first BMW, a 2009 328i, 7/27/09! 2009 328i sedan (base) black w/tan interior + automatic transmission + power front seats w/driver memory + floor mats Sticker/MSRP = $36,745 Sale Price (including dest. fees, discounts, everything but tax and tag) = $33889.95 (This is about $20 under invoice, and $200 less than the TMV price, which includes the free automatic transmission credit) Tax = $1873.79 License / Doc Stamp = $157.25 I put $10k down to keep the monthly payments under control... also traded in a clunker for an additional $3500 credit. So, $13500 down total. Financed $22,420.99 over 60 mos @ 1.9% apr = $392/mo! Was hoping to keep the payments nice and low... should have some equity in the car when time comes to trade around the time the warranty runs out. Leasing was not an option for me as I put too many miles on the car. Love the car so far, even though its a "base" model... The deal almost fell apart at one point but I'm glad I saw it through (especially since the base model 2010's no longer come with the power sunroof, apparently!) Given the numbers above and thanks to this forum I feel like I got a good deal, hope you guys agree. Hope this helps potential buyers.
