Carman, what's the January figures for a 2012 535xdrive, 12K for 3 years? I am working w/ MD dealer with USAA pricing and planning to get a fully loaded, sport-packaged vehicle with Nappa (all options except Driver Assistance Package, Active Roll Stabilization, Rear Seat Entertainment and Night Vision). I am not eligible for loyalty credit but I have excellent credit history >770. MSRP $72K/Selling price with current incentives is $66K. What's the best way to lease this car? (How much down?) I want to keep monthly payments to absolute minimum and will pay tax upfront. Thanks!

murali - the dealer is in MD, and I think I got a very good deal because of the race to the finish competition with Mercedes. The deal really only came up the last week of the year, and I had to close by the 31st to log the sale in 2011. I was out of town and had to do the whole deal over the phone/fax. Got the car yesterday, really happy with my choice

I live in Rockville, MD. Would it be possible to find out which dealer in DC area? Thanks.

I ordered a similar vehicle, the sticker was $61,225. I am paying $55,600 for the vehicle and will get another $1000 off for financing with BMW, so actual price is $54,600. Credits include 1730 nav credit and 1000 finance credit (no loyolty since I sold a BMW more than 1 year ago). I think my deal was fair but not the greatest if you look through these forums. BUT I had a 2010 BMW 5 series that I sold to someone from Detroit. He flew to Maryland to get the car. It was basically brand new...long story. Anyway, he said BMW, Mercedes etc. in Detroit are very expensive because of the influence of GM, Ford etc. Meaning those who wish to drive foreign luxury cars pay for it. Who knows if he was right, but he did fly to MD to get a BMW.

Wanted to add a little more: What your dealership told you the invoice price of the car is incorrect in their favour. Check edmunds and spec out the car with the options and invoice pricing and print it and give it to them! Here's what I see; MSRP 64,000 Invoice 58,816 (-8%) Eco Credit -3,500 selling price 55,316 (this is the true cost) Include 6% tax 58,634 Since I do not know what the dealer fees, and tag and title cost are in ur area I'm going to say all that is dealer profit. dealer fees are usually around 600~700 and tag and title should be just 30~50 max. What they are selling you the car is for 64,000. The difference (dealer profit+fees) is $5365! Do you still think its a good deal?
