It's really rare for BMW to have a regional program with their leases.. I can remember a special 7-series program that was only good on the West Coast a couple of years ago... but that's about it.. They may run special programs occasionally for current owners, as well... but, those are usually nationwide.

I don't know where the Texas cars come in... If they come in through NJ, I doubt going East Coast would save that much time... It only takes a truck 1-2 days to drive to Texas from NJ. It isn't like they work any harder to get the close-by dealer's cars out of the VPC. Now, if they come in on the West Coast, then you might shave off 7-10 days by getting an East Coast dealer.. But, then you'll have to fly up and get the car, then drive it back.. Wouldn't be worth it to me, to save a couple of weeks on re-delivery.. Have you seen the price of gas? :surprise:

It's always possible that their are special regional programs... BMWFS doesn't do that often, but I know there were special 7-series factors on the west coast last year.. Or, your dealer screwed up... then decided to eat the difference, instead of trying to renege on the deal.. Either way, it is good for you... at .0005 or .0010, the lease deals are great right now for the 5-series.. regards, kyfdx

On ED, you have to finance 15 days before, no matter what type of lease or purchase... So, I'm not sure that it is much of an issue, either way. The ED money factor is bumped up, but they waive the second lease payment.. On a pre-pay lease, there is no second payment, so perhaps there is a reduction in amount of payment somehow... You really have to time your payment and pickup on ED, if you are leasing.... Otherwise, you could spend a lot of time without your car, while making lease payments... I think delivery times are shorter on the East Coast, rather than West.. regards, kyfdx

Yes.... a good deal.. it would be hard to get into a new 3-series for less.. and probably hard to find a new car with so few options...
