Buying a car from a BMW Car Dealer
Cincinnati and Louisville are closer than Chicago... Dayton, as well... A lot of choices..
The midwest is a pretty crappy place to get a great deal on a BMW... Not that I've bought there, but the guys at Voss BMW in Centerville (Dayton), OH seem to be straight shooters... Other than that, Chicago has eight dealers.. I wouldn't consider going that far out of town unless it will save you at least $1000.. Buying at the local dealer is always preferable... That said, D&R sure doesn't have a reputation for great deals... Alternatively, you could try Swope in Louisville... There are dealers in Bowling Green and Paducah, KY as well... I'd guess both of those are as close as Chicago.. (maybe not). regards, kyfdx
Cincinnati is a tough market for BMWs... If you pressed the issue, Sweeney is more likely to discount.. How about Voss in Centerville? South side of Dayton... off exit 44 on I-75... They may be more likely to deal, and that is only about 30 miles away... regards, kyfdx
Realistically, $380-$400 per month is likely to be the lowest you can get with nothing down and including tax.. and that will be for a lightly optioned '04. Try Voss BMW in Centerville/Dayton if you are having trouble making a good deal with Sweeney or The BMW Store.. Neither of those dealers is famous for making great deals... regards, kyfdx
It sounds like a nice one, but ANY '03 325i should be under $30K by now... I didn't buy mine CPO, but there was one at a dealer in Dayton back in December.. almost the same exact equipment.. BMWNA car, CPO as well.. It was offered to me for $31K even.. That was 9 months ago... I think $28K was a fair offer, and I'm surprised that didn't bring a counter offer under $30K.. Oh well... lots of cars out there... Good luck! kyfdx
