Buying a car from a BMW Car Dealer
Id like to say hello to our hosts and ask this most important question. My 09 328i sedan lease expires in Aug 2012. I'm looking at the lease offers for 2011s and really can't remember more enticing offers on 2011 328i X Drives and 335i Xs. I leased my car down south but am now living up north for the next yr, would really prefer an X Drive. BMW offers of 328 Xs at $329(3554.00 cash down) and 335Xs at $429 (4154 cash down) really are tempting. My quetion(s) do you think theres anything left in those deals, any possibility of getting the dealers to tighten those figures ...perhaps reducing the money down ?? Also, based on a trong used car mkt, will it be worth it based on the fact that I have approx 6 payments on my current lease of 370.00 mnth. My credit is approx 785. In a nutshell, do you think it possible to get into a 335iX with little down and be at 400 a month, considering 6 payments left on my 09 ??? Help....I'd like to try and do this.....but don't want to waste my time w/ a dealer if not feasable

the teaser rates have like 3-4K down or cap reduc.....no one should ever lease IMO with more than fees and first month down, why, id youhave the cash today, why not keep the 3K in your checking act and pay the extra $30/month or whatever.....anyway the best i got is on a 535 36/12 with just fees down, incl first(approx 2K out the door) and $800/month plus tax, 58500 sticker. my current 2008 535 with a 56K sticker was 1900 out the door 30/12, for $700 with tax, so this is a huge increase..i also learned as of this month you better have top tier, like 720+ or the rates are much higher!!! (current bmw lessee rates) car man-does this sound like a decent deal?
Yes, I shouldn't have used the term credit. However, it does appear that an individual will have a deduction on the sales and excise taxes and similar fees paid on up to $49,500 of the purchase price of a new vehicle, not that a vehicle above that amount will make it ineligible. http://www.irs.gov/irs/article/0,,id=214016,00.html
