I bought a 3 from United BMW of Gwinnett ten years ago when it was Charles Evans BMW. I didn't get any kind of run around when I purchased the car, but once United took over, I got the worst service I ever gotten (and that includes independent shops). I vowed I'd never buy another BMW as long as I live... That promise only lasted ten years, but I bought my new Bimmer from Nalley in Decatur. The salesman was a little pushy, but workable. I've only taken it in for service once (my oil light came on -- I was 1/2 quart low and they topped it off and thanked me for coming by), so I can't say if they'll be any better.

Try Nalley BMW, Decatur, GA (closer to Atlanta).
