You are absolutely right - I got my posts confused with conflicting information - there are so many numbers in front of me through research over the past week that i got completely confused. I apologize for any inconvenience to the readers here. The quote I got on an X5 3.0i (gas / I6) from the BMW dealer in Myrtle Beach (Josh Bauer - really good guy, highly recommended) was the one I shared earlier: x5 3.0i Premium / Tech / Rear Climate / Running Boards / Heated Seats / 3rd Row / Sat / ipod $0 out of pocket 2.9% interest rate $678.84 / month for 60 months $19896 balloon buyout Selling price: 54380 No taxes in this payment since the vehicle is for South Carolina and we pay property taxes on vehicles every year. Now, after I received this quote, I did some more research and found a demo 35d for an unbelievable price and that is the one I am going with. I am purchasing this from BMW of South Atlanta (Adrian Avila) from whom I bought my previous 328i - He is an awesome sales person and both deals were made over the phone - no bs, just straight talk and the best price. There you have it, two references for two amazing sales people - best of luck in your BMW purchases!

Received the following from Global in Atlanta on 6/23... seems to indicate they are hurting to sell cars. Doubt they liquidated everything the last week of June! Possible the 335 Coupe may be commanding close to or at MSRP, but they want to move cars. I'd reach out to them again and see if they budge. The Urgent Message is that we are way off on our numbers for the month so we MUST sell sell sell by the end of JUNE. We have over $24 million in new car inventory and we have no more space for cars and more are on the way! NO RESONABLE OFFERS WILL BE REFUSED!!!! Come in and select your car. No Haggle - No Hassle - Just a great price and great service. We also have over 200 executive demos on hand at savings up to $10,000 under MSRP! Please feel free to call us any time day or night if you have questions we can answer. Feel free to make us an offer on any of our over 350 new cars in stock at www.atlantabmw.com. This is the time to buy and don't forget the car you are buying comes with all maintenance included for 4 years or 50,000 miles! You just pay for tires and gas. Even your oil changes are covered. Sincerely Yours, The Internet Sales Group for Global Imports BMW

Amen! Had a '95 Saab Turbo Coupe (Blk/Tan) that was immaculate and I couldn't give it away in Atlanta when I was shopping for my 1st MB CLK. Had to sell it up north - and this was before GM got it's grubby hands on them. Told myself I would NEVER buy a car again that depreciated at that rate... also will never own a car that someone would not want to own as a used car, hence my current '03 530SP. Bought it new and may drive it until the wheels fall off... splendid ride!
Re: July 2008 BMW Financing Rates [babydoctor77]

I think Infiniti offers 1.9 financing and saw Mercedes offering 1.9/72 on the 350. I wonder if BMW will succumb to pressure and roll it out too. Things are definitely not too good. In Atlanta the biggest dealership, Global Imports, is running a "sale" event - all 3-series sedans at invoice pricing. With the way the economy and gas prices are lately, I doubt this would make much of a difference and help them boost sales.
Re: X5 lease [kyfdx]

Thanks. Since I always do 2 year leases, I'm sure it would be a bit less. However the savings would be much more than I'm making in interest from the bank and, even in investments these days. Any numbers (residual % and mf) for a 2 year lease on a 3.0 in Atlanta, GA?
X5 lease

I'm just checking out the X5 so I have no specific vehcile in sight but I don't see any recent postings about 24 months so here goes. 2008 X5 3.0i 24 Month Lease at 10k/yr. Returning BMW FS customer Money Factor? Residual? Also, on my current lease I paid the entire lease up front and never really got a sense of how much that saved me (if any). With BMW, what are the advantages (cost) of paying up front? Thanks,
