Re: 335i Pricing [pjj14]

What dealership in DC offered you the quote? I have no problem driving up there to get the car if I can get a similar deal. I'm working with a dealership in Charlotte and they won't negotiate at all. I think that's a really good quote, considering that's just a smidge over $1000 above invoice. How many miles are on the car?
335i Pricing
by pjj14 on Fri Mar 07 06:40:12 PST 2008
A local DC area dealer has quoted me a price of $43,269 for a 335i with the following options and packages: sport, cold weather, premium, iPod adapter, and satellite radio. This seems like a good deal. Has any one been quoted a lower price recently? Thanks.
Lease factor for 328xi Sedan
by pucelle on Tue Oct 30 07:33:11 PDT 2007
I'm looking at leasing a custom 2008 328xi Sedan here in the DC Metro area. I know that I have to put 5% down in order to order it but I wanted to know if I am supposed to negotiate the price before it gets here or afterwards. Also, I wanted to know about the lease factor for this model for this area (VA, MD, DC). The MSRP is $34,300 + 12,298 (options) + 775 (deliver) to equal a total MSRP of $47,373. I was thinking about 36 or 48 months at 10k or 12k miles.

Hello Topsin628. I'm thinking we should keep in touch for I'm going through a similar process. Reviewing the numbers you show a couple messages back I'm a bit troubled however. According to Edmunds, you're invoice should be more $76,815 (assuming the following options: lux. seating, convenience pckg., sirius radio and destination). Check it out. Now you may be fine with that, but I'd be concerned with the integrity of the salesman/dealer if he/she has told you the invoice is one thing and its actually another. I'd try to find out which is true. Either way, you're doing better than me. On a 750Li listed in the VA/DC/MD area for $87,920, 10k mi/yr; the dealers first offer was: sales price $83,120 (not incl. rebate of 3500), $8084.21 down, and $1084.21/mth ($1105.95/mth for 12k mi/yr). He's at least $2k over invoice. I'm not even sure I want to counter b/c I feel its an insult. I'm working w/ 2 others and should get numbers from them tomorrow. I'll keep you posted. Please do the same. Good luck. Anyone else, please feel free to comment, advice, etc.

Im keeping my car (2006 325i M/T) until the wheels fall off or a diesel 3 series is available here...whichever comes first. BTW...must put a plug in for Yves Badji, my sales guy at Passport BMW in the DC Metro Area. He's EXCEPTIONAL.
