Buying a car from a BMW Car Dealer
I live in Washington DC. Today I ordered 2012 X5 3.5i premium. Space Gray and Black Nevada Interior ($55,200) With Convenience ($3,500), Technology ($1,700), Cold Weather Packages ($750), and Running Board ($300). MSRP: $62,325 (incl. Destination charge $875) Final price: $54,945+tax+tags+processing fee = $56,666 What do you think? Is it a good deal?
Dealer around Washington, DC area quoted the following last night: 328i Sapphire Black/Black, Value Pkg, Premium Pkg, Cold Weather Package, Sat Radio. MSRP $42,275. Price quoted $38,290, less $750 if I finance with BMW. Good deal? Thanks, RIP...
All - Great forum that has helped me negotiate a good price on the car. I had a question regarding the Loyalty credit. I have what I believe is a pretty good price for a 2011 535i - dealership is in the Washington DC Metro area. However, I'm being told that I cannot get the $1000 loyalty credit because I am getting 3.9% financing via BMW Financial Services as that rate is supposedly a loyalty APR. From reading the incentives/rebates on this site, it appears that the financing at 3.9% isn't a loyalty APR, but just an incentive APR. Can someone clarify? Appreciate the help/advice!!
Hi, I'm considering leasing an X5 diesel. I can't seem to find one locally (Washington DC) with the Active Cooled Seats, so I was considering ordering it. Since I'll be ordering, I thought it'd be fun to pick it up at the SC factory. If I'm taking delivery at the factory, does the dealer matter? Does the dealer have any influence on the lease terms other than the sell price? Is it really bad to shotgun email lots of dealers looking for the best quote? I'm in sales and I really hate when customers do that to me, but I'm only slightly worried about the karmic debt I'm creating because I really haven't come across a dealer or salesperson who inspires me to give him/her my business. If I'm ordering, does the time of month matter, or does the sale count for the month the car is delivered? I understand that the sales month for BMW ends on Monday, because the 31st is on Sunday. Lots of questions, I know, but thanks in advance for any advice. Martin
GA doc fee is vary from dealers. It ranges from $399 to $599. You can not waive the doc fee since it is pre-print on the form but you negotiate down the amount equal to the doc fee of the price of the car. Doc fee is extra profit that shared between the sales manager and the salesman.....
