by mdiver65 on Wed Mar 28 23:03:08 PDT 2007
Hi all, I'm prefer to keep my monthly payments low and was offered the following by a dealership here in Phoenix. It is a 2 year/10,000 mile per year lease. MSRP: $34,925.00 (based on Edmunds w/ 6-Speed Auto/Metallic) Price offered $32,925.00 Down Payment: $3,000.00 Acquisition fee: $825.00 (this appears to be high) Doc fee: $259.00 Money factor: .00125 (not confirmed-see next) Residual value: 71% (not confirmed-I'm basing this on the March lease rates w/ 12,000 miles) Security: $300.00 Plates: Approx $600.00 Payments: $265.00/month + tax We are talking $3,000 down + approx $2300 out the door. A LOT I know. But if you could please let me know your thoughts ASAP it would be appreicated. I'm looking to close on a deal by March 31. Thank you!!! Mark
BMW Lease Questions
by mdiver65 on Tue Feb 13 10:41:35 PST 2007
Hi all, I'm looking at leasing a BMW and will be passing along numbers soon. Two questions before I begin my hunt though. 1. With leases from BMW, is all maintenance included (3 years)? 2. If I move, can I return my car to a different dealership upon the end of lease (Phoenix to Seattle)? Thank you!! Mark
Zero Down BMW Leases
by mdiver65 on Sat Oct 28 17:49:40 PDT 2006
Hi All, I'm relativley new to leases but have been reading up on them as of late. It sounds likes BMW (and most others) are infamous for requiring $$ down. That's why I was shocked to find an advertisement in the paper today for "Zero Down" (I know that doesn't mean $0.00 down!!) leases from Scottsdale BMW. I am trying to figure out if this is a "good deal." They are offering a 2006 BMW 325ia for $425+/month (36 months). Also, a 2007 525ia for $499+ (24 months). Due at signing is 1st months payment, tax, license, acquisition fee, ref security deposit, and $388 doc fee. No total "down" is provided. Basically, I am trying to avoid putting anything down like $2500 I see so much. I know total fees, payment, will be over $1K probably. Better than $3500. Can one enlighten me if this is a good deal and what I should be looking for it not. THANKS for all your help out there in leasing land!! Mark in Phoenix
