General guidelines: what should I be looking to pay in relation to invoice; money factor rates; etc... I appreciate someone taking the time to help guide me through this process. AK

The MMR changes weekly as a result of the auction happening every Wednesday. From what I understand, that is the price at which the dealer acquires the car from BMWFS.   I first found out about MMR from Terry on this board (thank you, Terry). Then I found I could get the MMR price from the dealer. But not all dealers will give you this number. The second dealer I went to was up front and honest and showed me the numbers (the first dealer I went to put in his own number for the MMR price, which was about $3K higher than actual). This second dealer said he would sell me the car at MMR. When other dealers started to call me to CPO my car with them, I aked if they too would sell me the car at MMR. Reluctantly they agreed. Then I worked on the CPO pricing. It was easy when you have a number of dealers competing for your business. Ultimately, I went with the upfront and honest dealer mentioned above. It is amazing at the deal one can get if you are educated about the pricing.
